The Xyna Conference 7 with its topic “Service Innovations boosted by Industrialized Service Engineering” on the occasion of GIP’s 20th anniversary fascinated again leading experts of the major international telecommunication providers
On 3rd October, GIP’s FutureLab XOLLX presents exciting experiments and lots of new ideas under the slogan “Programming playfully – An expedition to the year 2020” to interested children and their parents.
GIP presents itself from 16th until 18th October at the RAI Exhibition & Convention Centre in Amsterdam at the international Broadband World Forum. GIP will present the new version of the Xyna Factory at this expo.
After participating at the IPv6 Day in 2011, GIP also supports the worldwide IPv6 Launch in this year. It takes place on 6th June 2012. The IPv6 Launch is organized by the Internet Society, an international association which is committed to the continuous further-development and growth of the internet.
GIP will present the current version 5 of the Xyna Factory at this expo. With Xyna Factory, technical processes, e.g. for the configuration of IP phones or set-top-boxes, but also of PE and CE routers, can be modeled graphically and automated in a high-performance workflow-engine.
GIP presents itself from 12th until 14th June in Cologne at the ANGA Cable – Trade fair for Cable, Broadband and Satellite. GIP will be represented with an exhibition booth as well as with a speech at the congress.
Corporate Communication Services Reloaded – From Social Networks to Machine Networks
With a significant growth in revenue and profit, 2010 has been the most successful year in GIP’s history.
On the 8th of June GIP participates in the worldwide IPv6 Day. Within this 24-hour test run the participating enterprises provide their web contents also in the new IPv6 standard.
With more than 420 exhibitors from 34 countries and more than 16,500 visitors, the ANGA Cable 2011 could assert again to be the leading trade fair for cable, broadband and satellite in Europe. Also for GIP the fair was extremely successful. Plenty of conversations with existing and potential customers and partners took place at GIP’s booth. With the Xyna Factory 4.0 and the new Xyna Topology Modeller, GIP presented an IPv6-capable, comprehensive OSS-solution for cable net operators with a main focus on Service and Device Provisioning.
The Future Internet – with Smart Home, Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) and adaptable business products – puts highest demands on the OSS systems. Beside new technologies like IPv6, DHCPv6, DOCSIS 3.0, TR-069 and SIP, Service and Device Provisioning must be migrated to new products and efficient production concepts.

The relocation in the new offices offers GIP the possibility to maintain its course of success and growth. It was also necessary in order to realize the scheduled doubling of the company size from currently 60 to 120 highly qualified employees.

The GIP invited the ITK industry to the 5th Xyna Conference at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden; there they discussed the future of telecommunications and the Internet.
To reinforce the areas of “Xyna Solutions”, GIP launches a recruitment campaign for the field of software development.
The early 2009 founded business division “Smart Grid/ eMobilty” and the corresponding BMWi research project “StroPa”, to develop an intelligent infrastructure for electric vehicles energy parking slots, proving to be very successful.
In 2009, GIP could increase its profits again. Both through the development of existing projects as well as through the successful integration of Xyna Factory in new projects the outstanding business development in recent years continued.
With more than 170 guests (a plus of more than 30%) from telecommunications, media, IT, and power industry, a new record attendance was achieved. This certifies the unique focus of the Xyna-Conference between innovation, future, and operational solutions.
