The project “Electricity car parks for electric vehicles – Concepts, checking stations and pilot-installation” is a group project promoted by the Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology within the tender “Electrical-economic key elements: Memory, nets, integration”.
The syndicate consists besides the GIP AG of the companies FroSys GmbH (Regensburg) and juwi R&D Research & Development GmbH & Co. KG (Wörrstadt) as well as the Institut für Mobilität & Verkehr (institute of mobility & traffic) at the University of Technology of Kaiserslautern and the Fraunhofer-Institut für Windenergie und Energiesystemtechnik (IWES) (Fraunhofer institute for wind energy and energy system technology) in Kassel.
The aim of the research project is the piloting of a universal electricity filling station including infrastructure based on the requirement specification which was developed within the group project.
GIP supports the syndicate with knowledge about methods, processes and technologies in modern communication nets. Based on the value of far-reaching analogies between data nets and energy nets, GIP transfers the successful concepts from telecommunication to the future Smart Grids and electric mobility nets.
Based on the Xyna Factory, GIP implements simulation surroundings for the modeling of the appropriate technical business processes and their automation via services and workflows. Furthermore an evaluation of relevant Smart Grid communication protocols and their implementation takes place in the Xyna Factory. In addition, concepts for planning, construction, operation, accounting and security of these future electric mobility structures are examined based on the simulator.
