The Xyna Factory is GIP’s central product.
Xyna is a software solution for the automation of technical business processes.
In principle Xyna can be used in all SOA-oriented system sceneries – interbranch. Nevertheless, the technical main focus lies on OSS processes of Service Fulfillment and Service Self-Care in Smart Networks (Next generation IP-Networks in telecommunications and Smart Grids in the energy area).
Central characteristics of Xyna:

Event & order-based
Events on the net and orders
trigger business cases in the factory
Process-oriented
Modeled business processes are
assigned to events and orders
Lifecycle-Spanning
Extensive process support –
from service orchestration to
operational processes
Thereby, Xyna automates the machine-machine-interaction (processes between different IT systems or net elements) as well as the man-machine-interaction (processes between an IT system and the human user).
Central approach and core of the Xyna Factory is the model-driven and process oriented automation by workflows. Business processes are modeled graphically, partner systems and net elements are integrated on the basis of standardized interfaces and automated via an efficient workflow engine.
The Xyna-product family consists of the model-driven development platform Xyna Development & Test Factory; and based thereupon the Xyna Net Factory with main focus on net configuration and the Xyna Service Factory with main focus on Service Provisioning and Service Self-Care.
Today as an innovative automation platform Xyna is used by leading providers for the development and production of modern communication and multimedia services.
