New employees for research projects in request

Currently new employees are in request for research projects of GIP.

According to the innovative nature of the content, highly qualified graduates with a technical focus (physics, mathematics, computer science or comparably) are searched for the positions.

Employee for the research project electric mobility (eMobility / Smart Grid)
Objective of the division “Smart Grid” is the development of innovative solutions in the interface between telecommunications and computer science. Current projects focus on concepts concerning the intelligent future energy supply. In course of the evolution of conventional power grids towards intelligent, decentralized energy distribution networks (Smart Grid) far-reaching analogies to communication networks, e.g. in the intelligent network and user management, form.

For the next few years a central area of application is the project electric mobility – to ensure the mobility of electric vehicles, based on regenerative energy, through infrastructure and intelligent power grid management.

Employee for the research project Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN)
Currently the mobile industry is preparing for the next big step in the evolution of networks: The 4th Generation (4G) as successor technology of UMTS will enable immense bandwidth and completely new forms of mobile services. These, also as Long Term Evolution (LTE) or Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) known technologies, will bring up new requirements regarding the construction, operation and management of these networks, but also open up varied chances.

Both positions are ideal entry-level positions in the innovative scope of GIP, so that even after the completion of the projects, various opportunities appear at GIP for a personal advancement as well as an advancement with regards to content.
