Intelligent solutions for a connected world
The Xyna Konferenz in 2009 was a full success: with more than 170 participants – a plus of more than 30% in comparison to the conference in 2008 – from telecommunications, media, IT and energy industry, a new record number of visitors could be put up in spite of crisis and restrictions regarding the conference budgets of many companies. This is confirmed by the unique adjustment of the conference between innovation, future and practically oriented solutions.
Also this year the GIP Research Institute presented again excluding contributions of leading companies about the topic »Smart Communications«.
Smart Communications means the development of intelligent, user-oriented and integrated communication solutions in an increasingly connected world. The considered spectrum of convergent telecommunication nets in fixed network / cable / mobile communications (Next generation Networks) reaches until new areas of telematics, as for example electric mobility nets and power supply networks (Smart Grids).
The speakers of the conference reported about the varied challenges and demands of smart communication as well as about topical innovation and developing attempts and projects. In the discussion groups which follow after each presentation and during the evening event, valuable suggestions arose as well as starting points for the development and the operation of smart communication solutions of the future.
