Innovation runs deep in our DNA

Da Innovationen die DNA der GIP sind, liegt es auf der Hand sich mit dem Design und Management von Innovationen zu beschäftigen. Dabei geht es um die Fragen wie man von der Idee zu einer wirksamen Lösung und deren erfolgreichen Einsatz kommt. Auch die Fragen nach sozialen Innovationen werden hier betrachtet. Zurzeit ist das das Konzept des Quantum Grids Out of the Box for Africa – als Social Innovation. Diese Forschung erfolgt in Kooperation mit dem Lehrstuhl von Prof. Piening und seines Mitarbeiters E. Esau.

Our target is innovation – realized through the development of new methods, services and solutions for the construction and operation of intelligent networks, so-called "smart networks". Smart Networks are convergent, intelligent networks of the future, such as IP-based networks in telecommunications (Next Generation Networks, Future Internet) or smart grids and electric mobility networks in the energy sector.

Based on the R&D in the Research Institute GIP Exyr GmbH develops and sells solutions in form of Xyna Factory products and consulting services.

Examples of our work on digital innovation are the product Xyna.Com and the revolutionary Quantum Grid concept for packet-based transmission of energy.

Xyna Convention / InnoClub

At the annual Xyna conference (2006 - 2019), we presented innovations to touch and shared our visions with an exclusive specialist audience.

From 2020, the Xyna conference will be replaced by the Xyna Convention and is now planned and implemented by GIP Exyr GmbH.

We then invite the visionary research group around the GIP to this event in the InnoClub, with Dr. Bernd Reifenhäuser (President of GIP AG) as the host.

We cooperate with the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in the areas of innovation research and social innovations.

Close cooperation has developed in 2019 with Prof. Dr. Erk P. Piening (Chair for Organization, Human Resources and Management). We are very happy about this cooperation and are excited to see what results we will develop together.
